[Bug] Moving a tab stack from one window to another does not work
-
I tried moving a stack of 14 tabs from one window to another, I lost 13 tabs in the process.
Within version 5.0.2497.38 -
@adilmohammad Right-click on the tab stack and use the Move to.. submenu. I assume that you tried to use drag and drop, and ended up moving just one tab out of the stack into the other window.
If using two-level tab stacks, right-click on the first row tab.

This is definitely a rare bug, the 13 tabs you "lost" might not be actually lost, they are hidden in the tabbar. Just close & reopen the window with the 1 tab to reveal the hidden tabs. or simply restart the browser to fix the glitch.
Else, check the trashcan & see if Vivaldi decided to discarded 'em instead of moving 'em to another window. This is another rare variety of same bug. LOL
Pls file a bug report, I think I never file bug report on these cuz they are so easy to "fix" when occurs.

I cannot drag and drop neither tab stacks nor single tabs, not among vivaldi windows nor in the same window.
The usually empty place holder doesn't appear, and when I "leave" the dragging (when I'm dropping) nothing happens.
This started happening after updating to the latest version:
