Why Chromium....why?!?!?!?! Certificate Error
-
Why is this a thing now?!?! Any platform, version, have to launch the browser with ignore-certificate-errors everytime just to manage my IP phones nows?!?! No you can't just "proceed anyway..." any longer. Ghee...thanks for that.
Maybe I'm clueless...beyond annoying this new "feature"
Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 192.168.1.11 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more
NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID
192.168.1.11 normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Vivaldi tried to connect to 192.168.1.11 this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be 192.168.1.11, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Vivaldi stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.You cannot visit 192.168.1.11 right now because the website sent scrambled credentials that Vivaldi cannot process. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

@techlogik You can not create a certificate for a IP.
Use hostname of device to access.And i do not know why your certificate is broken. I think it is invalid and missing some important settings before creation.
And with a self-signed cert on my local Linux webserver at https:// 10.0.0.100 i get a NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
i press Advanced and i can proceed unsecure with the link at bottom.If i try to access by router by https:// 192.168.0.1/ the Vivaldi error page shows me
NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
i press Advanced and i can proceed unsecure with the link at bottom.
And i can use client certifcates for authetntication, too.
