Pinned Tabs and second Tab-Line
-
It is still not possible to move a pinned tab to a second line or vice versa. It is also not possible to pin a tab in the second line. Sometimes it is possible to duplicate a pinned tab in the second line, but not always.
Unfortunately, I cannot narrow down the circumstances. But I can say that the situation was better some updates ago.
Why is pinning and moving pinned tabs forbidden?

I'd argue that's the point for having a tab pinned - so that you cannot close/move it on accident, without unpinning it first.

It is possible with command chains. However, if you pin a second-level tab, the whole stack will be moved to the pinned tabs position and change its size depending on whether a regular or a pinned tab is active within that stack (I'm talking about horizontal tab bar here). I guess this feature still requires some polishing yet...

I understand what the pinning is supposed to do. That's why I use it very extensively.
But it doesn't work with the second horizontal row. Which, from my point of view, could even be a standard function. Collecting all the pins in one tab makes a lot of sense. And in my experience, it was better a few updates ago. You could still create an additional pinned tab with tricks like duplicating. This no longer works reliably. Unfortunately.
