The missing snapshot / scrollable tabs – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2533.3
-
@ruarí no mention that we can disable trash can and synced tabs button.
-
I snapped thy Vivaldi ringggg! Mine! Yesss, myyyy preccciousssss!
-
@juanvase @Ruarí Nice, though I would much prefer is the disabling of the trash can and synced button was handled like other UI elements:
As opposed through a dedicated checkmark in the tabs settings.

Does the tab scrolling work well for everyone? I'm on Linux, with vertical tab bars, and my mouse (Logitech) jumps two or so tabs at a time. There is no way to tame it.
I do use
imwheel
to increase scroll wheel speed. Without it scrolling pages would be unbearable. -
I'd call this a bug that new tab button changes position with horizontal scrolling.
That new behavior could be a bit inconvenient.
-
@juanvase you could already do it in previous snapshot(s).
-
Happy New Year all!
With vertical Tabs on, I have this:
-
Wait, wait!
What did I missed?Happy New Year' snapshot?
-
@paul1149: This could definitly be a problem with imwheel. I tried to install it, when set the value to one it's one tab switching, setting it to 2 will switch 2 tabs so yeah I guess that's the issue you have.
Maybe try a other tool or make a post in the forum. -
@ruarí: Nightly launches?
-
OK — with "Display Synced Tabs Button" and "Display Trash Can" disabled the throughshining is gone.
-
@pathduck is it really happening?
-
- tabs scolling doesn't feel very smooth
- arrows indicators of the 1st and last tab are missing:
- It would be nice to have a list of open tabs like this too (only visible when a lot of tabs are open):
-
please fix this bug for tab scrolling...
-
i agree. be sure to also upvote this request...
-
@tsunamiz done!
-
@stardust For me the animation of tabs with the < > arrows in tab bar is smooth.
Could be that smooth movement depends on graphics card? -

Could be that smooth movement depends on graphics card?I made a quick test on Windows. Not the same level as Firefox imo. Will test on Linux soon
