Cloudflare stuck on "Checking your browser before accessing" - only an issue in Vivaldi
-
I started getting this issue a while back and because it was happening both on my phone and PC, I suspected it's an issue with my locale. However, just now I found out that Vivaldi is the only browser where I'm experiencing this issue, both on desktop and mobile.
I've tried disabling all extensions, the built-in blocking as well.
Can anyone think of any settings in the browser which could be causing this issue with Cloudflare?
EDIT: For clarification, this is happening when trying to access websites which use the DDoS protection, such as https://linustechtips.com

@bezdratovasprcha Hello and Welcome to the Vivaldi Community
What site?
This is often caused by refusing to accept cookies. For instance
vivaldi.com
uses CF but not the strict blocking checker. -
-
@bezdratovasprcha No problems here with that site, opening in a clean profile of Vivaldi 5.0. Tested with blocking all cookies and ad-blocker enabled.
This is from Norway. Might be different in different countries.

@bezdratovasprcha I have no problem to visit the page with Vivaldi 5.0.2497.32 Stable and 5.1.2526.3 Snapshot, both Win 11.
Perhaps you used a IP from ISP which is known for scanning, DoS or you use security extension which changw browser user-agent.

@pathduck So now I though of trying it out in a private window and the site is accessible. So I'm 100% sure it's not an issue with the browser itself, but of some setting that carries over cloud sync (because it happens both on mobile and desktop).

@bezdratovasprcha Are you 100% you've really disabled all extensions? Very often users say "disabled all" and there are still some running.
Please try the troubleshooting steps:

Thanks for the help. Deleting browsing data (specifically storage) fixed the issue. I was also able to fix it on my phone but had to clear the data from Android app settings.
