Picture-in-Picture Mode on YouTube Home page/Search

Having the the open Picture-in-Picture Mode on the home page directly would be pretty swick.
Upon hovering over a video show the Icon below the other Icons from youtube.

The Picture-in-Picture feature works with media detected on the page. For now, YouTube does not offer any playable media when viewing thumbnails, therefore it's not possible to spawn the PiP window on such pages (as there are no media to play). It would require a workaround made specifically for this website, which is what browser extensions are for.
