Thank you, Vivaldi!
-
@treego: You are welcome
-
@ruarí Second! Thanks for the update!

Updated OK from Manual Check for Update (Autoupdate is disabled, and is still disabled after updating, as expected).
-
Did this fix the volume icon in the tab when a window went picture-in-picture to look all blocky and glitchy? A can submit a proper bug report if need be.
-
I didn't realize what “Fade Foreground Colors” meant until I suddenly saw it happening: when Vivaldi isn't the top window, it dims the address and tab bars.
-
@ruarí Hello and thanks for the updates.
Does the 5.0 broke the Chroma feature btw? Since the main update doesn't seem to work for me anymore -

@ruarí Thanks for fast update.
Can we expect a updated 5.1 Snapshot this week? -
Hey,
since v5 window color (Accent from page) only changes when I click on a page.
W10, Vivaldi v5 Stable, clean/default profile -
@ruarí , not the first, but satisfied

Has anyone else been getting crashes a few minutes after opening a private window? The only other thing I've noticed is that if I have a private window open and disable or enable an extension it will crash almost immediately. I've already submitted a bug report, just wondering how many others might be experiencing this.
It seems otherwise fine if I just don't open a private window.
-
@fazuul Have experienced this and also random crashes on closing tabs.
-
However small it may be, it is mandatory to have an update about "cookies" in the release notes when you use this image!
-
@fazuul Another workaround, no crashes if it's just the private window all by itself.
I really gotta read these comments before I auto-updoot. -
@vollinger As i remember from yesterday the Vivaldi devs are working on a fix for crash with private window.
See https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/542225 -
@wolfram: There actually was. I left it out initially whilst we attempted to better understand it and check that it was fully fix. It is actually this fix that caused the crashes that some have been seeing.
It is now added to the changelog VB-84929.

@ruarí: Much better now. I appreciate it!
