Fullscreen Browsing (aka Kiosk Mode)
-
Hi,
So, currently, in Vivaldi, pressing F11 on the tab (and not in any element in webpage) only fullscreens the current tab that i'm in (I can't navigate to other tabs while in fullscreen). So, there is this feature called Fullscreen/Kiosk Mode in IE, Firefox and Netscape (which has not been implemented in Chrome or any chrome based browsers yet). This mode is Invoked by pressing F11 in a tab (pressing anywhere apart from web elements invokes this mode) Essentially, in this mode, the browser is in fullscreen, but you can navigate around tabs and adjust settings. The main difference b/w regular and fullscreen/kiosk mode is that the browser is now in fullscreen, and the tab Auto-Hides when not hovered upon (well, it appears whenever hovered on top of screen.Preview/Showcase of the feature in IE 11 (Note: i hovered upon that area to show tab. it usually is hidden):
Normally, when not hovered upon at top of screen, (Navigation b/w tabs is possible when hovered upon the top of screen and switching b/w tabs):
Same Feature is also there in Firefox (Although it's not as intuitive as IE 11:

@saransds008 I am surprised not to find this Feature Request. It may be in one of the older archived topics.
To navigate between tabs in fullscreen mode, hold down the right mouse button and scroll the mouse wheel, use the Ctrl+Tab shortcut to cycle tabs, or use Next/Previous Tab shortcuts.

@pesala Yeah, but i need it as a Auto-Hiding Tab Interface rather than using Keyboard shortcut (IE, Firefox and Netscape have it already since late 90s-early 2000s). This allows Viewing Multiple content, managing tabs, settings, etc all in Fullscreen itself rather than quitting it or using keyboard shotcuts

Hi! I just registered to sumbit exactly this feature. I think it also would be nice to have a miniature preview of the tab when pointing the cursor to the top of the screen in fullscreen mode.

@radekwierzbicki Yep, I agree to that as well. Small/Mini Tab Preview in Fullscreen/Kiosk Mode is a really awesome addition as well i guess.
