I cannot use Whatsapp Webb inside Vivaldi

I hope you can help me.
Trying to let Vivaldi communicate with WhatsApp on my smartphone (Android) through WhatsApp Web, won't work. Using WhatsApp's QR-code won't connect with WhatsApp Web. I think I tried everything to have it fixed and even uninstalled and reinstalled WhatsApp on my phone, but nothing worked.
Then the thought appeared to try WhatsApp on the Google Chrome browser. And there it worked like a charm; it's just that Vivaldi is my default browser.
Is there a setting inside Vivaldi I have to adjust to let it communicate with QR-codes on my phone? Or any other suggestions?
