Wanting to sync Chrome bookmarks via mobile but no menu option??

Hello,
I've been trying to figure out how to import bookmarks from chrome via mobile. All the articles say go to the menu but I can't find any menu on mobile/pixel 4a. Do I have to download Vivaldi on desktop and then import on desktop? Thanks!

Hi and yes, mobile version does not support it.
Import iv in the desktop version and use the sync feature to sync it to the mobile version.

@mib2berlin thanks for the response and that's really unfortunate because I didn't want this browser on my PC, I only picked it because Android chrome/mobile no longer let's you stack tabs.

If I install on PC, import stuff and then delete it, I'm assuming it's won't ever sync to Google again because it will need the PC version to do so?

So I'll need to dump Google Chrome entirely then. This is really disappointing.

Hi, Vivaldi does not sync to Google, Vivaldi use it´s own sync system with encrypted data server in Norway.
What do you use on desktop, you can import from Firefox too, for example.

There are two ways to get the bookmarks in to Vivaldi desktop:

1. Export from Chrome as .html file > Import from file in Vivaldi.
2. Use import feature in Vivaldi directly from Chrome.

So I already have that link. You can't do any of this via mobile is what you said. I can only import if I use the desktop version of Vilvadi.

My second question is do I have to keep Vivaldi on my desktop after the import is done to Android mobile?? I don't want Vivaldi on my desktop Pc and want to continue to use Google Chrome on my desktop Pc.

You can remove Vivaldi after all is synced to the mobile, check "Remove user data" during deinstall.

How to import chrome bookmarks to Vivaldi

1. go to https://takeout.google.com/
2. Click deselect all
3. Select chrome data
4. Click all chrome data included and select bookmarks only
5. Scroll to end of the page and click next step
6. Enter your Google password and download
7. Now you have Bookmarks.html inside the downloaded zip file
8. Open file manager. Long press bookmarks.html - open with - select Vivaldi
9. Now you have chrome bookmarks in Vivaldi.

Or place bookmarks.html in internal Storage download folder and copy and paste below url in Vivaldi address bar
file:///storage/emulated/0/Download/bookmarks.html
