Congratulations. A good browser turns out. -
Yay, pwa improvements are here
-
Well it's great to see some improvements on vivaldi mail.
But after the update I always got google login popup whenever I open vivaldi. The same thing happened on snapshot version so I changed to stable version. Now same thing happens on stable version too. -
Because your privacy matters to us, the controversial Idle Detection API — another privacy-invasive feature from Google — is now disabled by default.
-
Yay for Vivaldi 4.3!
-
I really love that PWA and shortcut support.
I hope this comes for mobile too, because Hermit isn't Open-Source and doesn't work for me anymore. -
I like this new version of Vivaldi 4.3, good job!
However, while the new Sync UI definitely feels nice, it's still a pity that Sync currently still doesn't sync all settings (especially Search Engines). I would love to see improvements to this in the near future, if you have the resources. Thank you!

Yes! I am already doing this! Very useful!

@karenarzumanyan Thanks! Also here is a medal for 3rd post

Where are these108 languages for the translator?
My dialog shows only fifty.
-
@hellbillydeluxe: came here to post exactly that (I had hoped this would also include improvements to the setting sync itself). It is really annoying if you run Vivaldi everywhere across multiple pcs. I really hope that full setting sync comes rather sooner than later.

@zo1d Thank you. While I absolutely love Vivaldi and everything they stand for, I sometimes have the feeling that instead of polishing/finishing already implemented features, the team rather add new features on top. I was really hoping that by now, Vivaldi would be able to sync everything or at least Search Engines.

Thanks for the update!
The Gmail unfortunately does not work well in PWA mode. The sidebar (Task, Calendar, etc) doesn't load and the chat function also doesn't work. Anyone else experiencing this error? -
Idk about mails, but in RSS feed there is no translate option after selecting the text and right clicking. I think it should be supported there as well
-
The Capture feature has always been my one of favourites, the lack of a resize was a drawback, but now it's perfect!
I also absolutely love how Vivaldi once again is taking an active stance on privacy by simply outright removing Chromium's user-tracking by saying "We don't need this crap in our browser"

Vivaldi started asking me for more permissions to my Gmail account. How can I deny it and still be able to normally use the browser, without the popup coming up every time I close it?
The thing I don't want to allow is deleting emails on my behalf. I don't need to delete any email from Vivaldi level, and also I don't want to risk that due to some bug my mail will be gone from the server.
