Fullscreen does not work in Fedora 34
-
Hello everyone. I noticed a bug. Fedora 34, Wayland, Vivaldi 4.1.2369.21 (Stable channel) stable (64 bit)
By pressing the F11 key, the browser goes into full screen mode. Returning to the F11 key does not return to normal mode. If you first press F10, and then F11, then the exit from the full-screen mode occurs.

F11
triggers the Fedora fullscreen mode, it’s a built in shortcut. This will go fullscreen (hide the Fedora top bar), but will leave Vivaldi’s UI visible. Incidentally the Vivaldi fullscreen mode is set toF11
too in a default installation. This doesn’t do anything, but if you change the shortcut to e.g.Shift-F11
the webpage will take the whole screen (UI hidden). Well, that’s what I can tell you about it anyway.F10
focuses the main menu by default, so no idea how this should be related. -
@luetage Thanks. Made a combination via Shift + F11. Works. But the question remains. Why do other Chrome-based browsers work on F11, but Vivaldi does not?

@yandaxx I give you a counter question. Wouldn’t it be completely meaningless which browser you choose, if all had the same features and behaved in the exact same way with the exact same shortcuts? Vivaldi’s UI is different, slower but gives far more freedom than other browser. With customisation comes complexity, that’s why some things might seem a little odd.
