can't close last tab with midlle mouse button

can't close last tab with midlle mouse button. Every other opened tab can be closed with midle mouse button but not the last one specialy when there is alot of opened tabs i need to close it manualy by clicking X
-
@cosmopock Remove the checkmark from the tab settings "Keep Window Opon when last Tab is Closed". Then Vivaldi will be closed with the last tab.
-
Still i have the same problem even after unchecking this option ,last tab on the right is unclosable

The last tab on the right? So you are not talking about the last open tab after all others have been closed, but you have a number of tabs open and the rightmost cannot be closed?
Could you post a screenshot of your tab bar?
-
-
@cosmopock ah. I can't reproduce this and I don't recall anyone mentioning a similar problem on the forum lately. So let's go bug hunting, but first of all set that checkbox "keep window open when last tab is closed" again, because that recommendation was based on a misunderstanding.
Now, could you please (just for testing and also in settings -> tabs -> Tab Bar position) - choose to show the tab bar on the right hand side just like it is shown in @stardepp's screenshot above? If you do so, can you now close that formerly right-most, now bottom tab?
Then, return to showing the tabs on top. Does the issue also appear when your browser window is not maximized?
-
After moving tab to the right side just like you told me problem disappeard i can close last tab with no problem.
-
@wildente even if the browser is not on full screen i have the same problem. Only solution is to point and click on X mark of the tab or close other tab first .
-
@cosmopock strange. Sorry, I have no idea what might be the cause of the issue.
-
@wildente take a look how it behives http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlfyCUIj1No
-
@cosmopock Ah! So it works once!

@damirh said in Translate selected text β Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2392.3:
- If I close the rightmost tab but keep my mouse where it is, the now new rightmost tab won't register the mouseover event and I can't middle click to close it. I have to move my mouse away from the tabs and re-hover for it to register. Is this a known issue?
-
Since this seems to be a bit difficult to reproduce let me clarify a bit more: I have a bunch of tabs open. So many that if I middle-click close my right-most tab, another one will slide in its place because the tabs are squished. Now, this new tab that is now under my mouse (which I haven't moved yet) will not register the mouse over event. If I just remove my mouse from that particular tab and move it back, it works fine.
EDIT: It's not even moving the mouse to another tab. As soon as I mouse-over the left-ish area of the favicon of the unresponsive tab, it will start to work. If I close a tab and the mouse lands on top of the favicon of the new tab that slides in, it will work just fine.
All of this started in 4.1

Same issue here, I have to left clic on the 2nd tab from the end first and then I can close the last tab with a middle mouse clic. Super annoying.

Same here. Began after last update. Very inconvenient. Looking forward to a fix asap. 4.1.2369.21 (Stable channel) (64-bit) Win 10 64 bit

@pesala Shame, the animations look nice but yea this is a workaround.
