Any way to get automatic page translation?

Chrome has a feature that automatically translates the page. Since it's built in, it doesn't seem to be available as an extension. Anyone know how I can achieve automatic translation of whole pages? I can live with a solution that is not fully automated (requires me to press a button)

I was looking for something similiar. It's a bit tricky, and google translate extension works only with single words and not web pages (In Vivaldi at least).
The best thing I found, is to use this link and put the page which must be translated. -
@thomcat If I remember rightly it is about licensing issues. Vivaldi would have to pay to include this.
The simplest solution is to add a web panel for translation, and copy/paste text into that.
Bing Translate will accept a URL of the page, and opens the translated page in a new tab.

Chrome has its Google translator, you can have it easy being from the same company.
But Google translate is not always the best translator.
I use an extension called Im Translate, which brings together Google translators, Bing and one of their own. Allows from the contextual menu to translate words, texts or the whole page, incorporates a dictionary with voice and also to translate text of the own language to any other from the icon of the extension

Not really helping along the topic, but if you visit DeepL you get a translator which gets better results than G translate and is independent of Google (for those who care...).
Results may vary depending on the language; an article on anaesthetics was translated so well it might have been published just so...

Chrome-like auto in-place translation would be great but yeah could be costly for Vivaldi so understandable.
The one thing I pretty much have to use Chrome for as I browse a lot of sites regularly in another language. So much more convenient not having to reload pages all the time and the words just get displayed in English like magic on Chrome.

So, I've been wondering if it's possible to allow each user to pay (to Vivaldi or directly to Google) to get this and other Google functionalities on Vivaldi.

@godly75 As explained earlier, it would cost money that Vivaldi does not have to spare.
You can add a web panel or a search engine.

I just migrated from firefox to vivaldi, I was using this extension by Filipe PS Github and Firefox Addons

Oh well. I can reply to myself now. Instead of installing plugin from source, we can use this addon from Google Store. And it works perfectly as old Google Translate for any webpage. You must only click the button and select Translate this page.

Yes, it will be really useful if vivaldi has a built-in full webpage translation like Chrome and edge.
