Moodle in Vivaldi - web panels and calendar to the rescue
-
For students and in particular parents, I'd like to point out that Vivaldi rocks for Moodle as you can try out on https://school.moodledemo.net
For the Vivaldians here none of this comes as a surprise, of courseMoodle works perfectly as a web panel, and the Vivaldi calendar integration gives a great overview over the upcoming courses. No other browser offers this combo to make it easy to work in this system. In these pandemic times parents, students and teachers alike all require great tools and all the help they can get to keep up.
As an example, as a parent of kids in different schools, Vivaldi makes it a lot easier to stay up to date and check in - rather than having to go on the websites of each school everything is just delivered to you. (the only issue I have is that all web panels have the same moodle icon.)
Compared to pro tips using Figma I guess that pro tips using Moodle might reach a broader audience, in particular during pandemic times. Summer break is over soon. People will gladly look for new solutions.

I'd like to bump this after seeing the marketing piece on using discord with Vivaldi which I find far less relevant, in particular because it hardly showcases the uniqueness of Vivaldi. Sorry for being a PITA

Germany is on the way back to lockdown. They say they don't want to close the schools again, but I think that the possibility is very real. Just saying.... Now is the time to prepare some good tips and tricks to brag about and fire off when everyone looks for a solution. Parents of young children and older more it savvy students (and teachers?) will welcome any help they can get to keep on top of things.
