Identity API Scope Approval UI

Every once in a while, I'm getting this pop up window that looks to be a separate app, but comes from Vivaldi. Seems to be a Chrome thing.
The page asks me to log in with a google account "to continue to Vivaldi". I'm already logged in to Vivaldi for sync. There's zero reason for me to log in again.
Unfortunately, closing this window doesn't help, as it comes back at random times. How I get rid of this?
Update: I understand that this might come from an extension, and not Vivaldi itself. Yet, it's hard to be sure. If that is the case, I'd like to know which extension is it, and I'll uninstall it.
Here are some screenshots of how it looks like.

@jpbochi Hello and Welcome to the Vivaldi Community
I think maybe "
omnipresent.com
" might be a clue?Do you have a tab open for that site? Or an extension for the service?
I think this is a MacOS authentication thing, never seen it on Windows.
I know also the Vivaldi Email Client will use such dialogs for authentication, if you've enabled it. But in this case it looks like the Omnipresent site is causing it.

On Windows 10 the same:

I have this issue, too, on multiple MacOS machines (Monterey, Catalina, Mojave).
It began since I added my Google Account to the Calendar Settings:
It pops up every ~30 mins and even if I grant access again for my account, it still pops up again. Super weird.

For me, Gmail only works with Safari.

Need to go through as the cookies and sign in for the Mail in Vivaldi is separate from the rest of the browser.

Anyone solved this ? getting the same error for outlook now in window 10 after I sync my outlook mail in Vivaldi.

I believe I managed to fix it. So I've been getting this pop-up on Windows startup and I wasn't sure what exactly I've installed/ updated to cause its sudden appearance.
I searched for "identity API scope approval" in Windows Explorer and found it was some kind of a Web application starting from my Brave browser (C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\Web Applications). I deleted the whole folder (it had two files: image and a web file) and that prevented further startups.
I also found that the Google Keep extension for Brave was causing the same pop-up when trying to enable it, so I left it at Disabled (probably all Google applications for third-party browsers may cause the same sync error).
Haven't dealt with the syncing issue itself yet, but make sure to Back up any files that you delete to avoid making things worse, just in case.

The same right now on the latest stable Vivaldi version 6.0.2979.23 (Stable channel) (arm64) for macOS.
It asks Calendar and Tasks permission so I believe it's Calendar issue. -
Any ideas how to fix it?

I have the same issue. The Identity API Scope Approval UI (IASAU) window comes on when I start Vivaldi. It's been doing that for about a week now:
Clicking IASAUI in the menubar, followed by Quit just brings it on again. Hide helps for as long as I keep Vivaldi (6.1.3035.111 on MBPro with Mac OSX 12.6.7) open. File > Close Window doesn't work either, it comes right back on. If I Quit Vivaldi, the IASAU-window disappears. If I restart Vivaldi, the IASAU comes back on.The first time it opens, it says "Edit" in the menubar as app. name:
About a week ago I did in fact install Brave. But I used it once and never bothered with it again. I haven't installed any extensions on Brave. It is not open when I start Vivaldi. It doesn't show up on Activity Monitor either.
If the calling up of the IASAU is Brave-related, why would it come up if Brave isn't active? Because both Vivaldi and Brave are Chromium-based?
Any ideas?
