Can't send mail - all recipients were rejected - Server:...
-
I now and then get the error message above. When checking the corresponding mail after the error message it seems correct. Trying to send it anew makes Vivaldi complain that there has to be at least one recipient in "To". There is of course an address in there as it is an answer to a received mail. So far this only happened when "To" contained a mail address only (without a name attached to the address). When I delete the recipient and type it in anew the message can be send.
-
I also noted that in these cases the overview for the outbox shows no recipient whereas the mail view shows a valid e-mail-address.
-
How about quotes or other punctuation? There are things that can be done to an email address to prevent spammers from using it that might not be immediately obvious ...

@sgunhouse
I can't see anything special in the address and it happens when I answer to a mail, so the address of the sender is used as recipient. That should always work. A small picture as the input field of the forum breaks the format otherwise:

@ghpy
The same happens here from time to time, but for me most of the time the format looks like that:<<[email protected]>>
But sometimes it is just the same as your's.
Anyway this only happens, when I try to answer mails. Never with new mails.
-
The problem seems - at least in the current version - only to arise if the cursor is still in the "To" field.
-
@ghpy I'd really like to figure this one out.

When you hit reply, edit it, and look in the drafts folder. How does the To field email look there?
-
Can you send the email as an attachment that you're trying to reply to me?
...If not, can you right click on the header of the email (before you reply) and click "Show Raw Message". Then find the "From: " and send me the answer or see whether you see some pattern?

@gmg I also started getting this error message in recent Snapshots whenever sending mail to gmail addresses.
All recipient rejected. The mail stays in my Outbox. If I send it from there, it goes just fine.
Contact email address is in the form:
