Dragged URL shortcuts should open without prompt
-
After a URL shortcut is dragged to the desktop in Vivaldi for Windows, opening that shortcut currently brings up a "Security Warning" dialog. This happens because the small file that is created by Vivaldi when the shortcut is dragged and dropped does not include a CR/LF character at the end of the URL inside the file. You can confirm this by opening the *.url file in a plain text editor, adding a carriage return to the end of the URL, and saving the file.
Could we get that carriage return added by Vivaldi in the first place? This problem does not occur in other chromiuum browsers so it is possible.

@joeduffus That is a known bug in Vivaldi.

@doctorg Thanks. Just seems like it should be a very easy one to fix. (Says the man who doesn't have to do it himself!)

Just thought I'd mention that this issue is still outstanding in the 4.2 snapshot release 4.2.2406.21.
