@MMF22R:
right click on a link, "open in a new BACKGROUND tab" as first option in the menù at the place of "open in a new tab" (not in background.
Or just set up a setting for this … plase.
thx for the excellent work you made guys :lol:Middle click or CTRL+click or gestures

- Option to set max connection per server/ max connection global
- Option to set interface/gateway to bind

@Magnanimus:
Any suggestions? :huh:
Personally I'm not an hevvy bookmarks user. But I suggest you to use the bugtracker to point out any regression you may see.

@MMF22R:
I already know these trick, but i thinked it was more easy just like "opera was "
Those aren't Tricks. Are normal commands.
Middlebutton was once an unique Opera feature, then was cloned in any browser and tabbed program.
CTRL+Click comes from the days when mac users were so poor that they couldn't afford a second mouse button :lol: , then "infected" the other platforms thanks to the multiplatform programs (Opera included).
On the other hand Opera has never opened a tab in background by default, so what "opera was" are you talking about? :huh:

Please consider using UserVoice, Trello, or any other similar platform that allows searching and voting for feature requests.

It would be great if it would be possible to control the behavior of the history.
Like choosing between "store history", "store history for session" and "don't store history".Also i request the feature to enable/disable Addons in privacy mode. Currently Addons are disabled there, which could be annoying if you use cVIM or other addons which enhances the workflow.

Hi, I have been introduced to the Browser a few days ago and regularly use Chrome and Opera.
Two features which I would really appreciate (I know there are extensions for it, but):
- Integrated AdBlock
- Integrated VPN
These are two features which I really like about Opera and I think the feature package already included in Vivaldi is great, but these two things could really make it my overall favorite web browser!
-
dont play gif (or webm) images, while they are offscreen (like in opera 12). or add "replay" button in right-click menu on it.

Hide Vivaldi
Please add a "hide Vivaldi" feature like it has been in Opera 12.
I'd like to use Vivaldi at work and I really do not want my boss to see what I'm doing.
Please make this adjustable in the settings.
In Opera 12, the standard keyboard shortcut was "Ctrl + h" which I changed to "Ctrl + y" ,
the "h" is to far away from the "Ctrl" keyI have always been an Opera fan and still keep using Opera 12.

Dear Vivaldi Team,
The Browser is very good, but I suggest a new feature. I'm using two monitor for my computer, and other browsers have that if i grab an opened tab, and i pull it to my other monitor, a window with that URL will appear. In Vivaldi, I cant pull it to the other monitor, I can just change the order of the opened tab in the current window.
I think it would be a very useful feature.

On the "Start Page", instead of it just taking a snapshot of the page and posting it as the picture for the page, we should be able to change the picture displayed. That way, I can make it a high quality logo like the default for facebook or twitter instead of a nasty screenshot.

I have hard time calling "high quality" a basic two color tile, but yes the metroish tiles are often requested by people used to the oversimplified trend that started win win 8 and that was embraced by google and apple.
I'm sure they will come as a part of the general SD improvement.
-
Fair enough, and I could care less about the tiles but I like the easy access to my most used bookmarks, like Chrome's bookmark bar that only appears at the new tab page I LOVED but Vivaldi doesn't have that so the tiles are the next best thing and it looks ugly with the screenshot of the home page.

You mean like Google Chrome's Incognito Mode?
-
Please add three-finger trackpad gesture support on Mac. For some reason the support that was added only works for two-finger gestures. All other browsers support whatever setting is applied in System Preferences.

I would like to see an option for the Start Page to use icons instead of thumbnails―either icons grabbed from the website (same as those used on a tab, etc.) or a custom image you could select manually.
-
Yes, absolutely. The screenshots are not very good, and an official logo or icon of the page would look much nicer, especially now that the trend is clean, flat icons. It's a good look. Let's hope it stays this way for a while. We should even be able to upload a custom image for your bookmarked site.
-
speed dial features:
ability to set the thumbnail image manually (with automatic scaling preferably)
use of extensions while generating thumbnails (pages full of ads are ugly)general features:
ability to disable builtin password manager (never asks to save password)
ability to add ssl certificate exceptions -
Yes Plz add silent fetures to the install or provide MSI packages

Download data.
If possible it would be helpful, IMHO, to have the same amount of download data presented to the
user, and in a similar format, as was seen in the old Opera-12.16.It would also be helpful to be able to delete personal data as quickly as it was in the old Opera-12.16,
i.e., alt-t, d, enter. Or, an extension similar to "Click & Clean" that is available for Firefox which clears
data with one click.Thirdly, being able to zoom in or out using only the plus or minus keys was one of my
favorite features of the old Opera-12.16.
