[macOS only] 2FA codes propose like Safari
-
Hi! There is a very useful Safari feature which is so convenient. It regards 2FA (two factor authentication) by SMS: each time a web site ask me to provided the authentication code it sent to my mobile, Safari gets automatically the code from the incoming SMS and propose to paste it in the form. It makes 2FA so much easier, lifting all the pain from it.
Is it possible to add this function please? -
@gwen-dragon Hi! Yes, it's about adding this feature in desktop web browser (Vivaldi for macOS). The feature I'm talking about works in Safari on macOS for iPhone users: when you receive SMS it translates it to macOS in Messages.app. And code provided via SMS is proposed to be inserted into corresponding field. It's very very useful feature.

Does anyone know if this feature request has gotten any traction with the dev team? This is a great feature, and I've almost moved to handling "important" work requiring 2FA to Safari.

Any news about these request?
