Solved Vivaldi slow
-
why is the new version of Vivaldi so slow?
-
@gwen-dragon, I removed uBlock origin, Trafficlight and Malwarebytes
-
It isn’t? Not that I noticed anything anyhow. Maybe something in your profile is slowing it down. Try deleting browsing data and remove finished downloads.
-
@paulo1953 , try in a guest profile, maybe the reason is a extension, or a security soft which you use causes the slowdown (some Third party AV, Firewall)
-
@catweazle, you are right! I eliminated some extension and Vivaldi seems faster than before. Thanks for your support.
-
@luetage, thanks for the support. I did it and I will see if the vivaldi gets faster.

@paulo1953 , uBlockOrigin don't slow down, but the other two do it,modt MalwareBytes.
Apart MalwarBytes isn't needed, if you use Windows Defender and uBlockOrigin also blocks malicious or fraudulent sites.
You can also, instead of using uBlockOrigin, add blocking lists from uBO and others(look for this which are compatibles with Vivaldi, marked with it's logo) in the ad and tracker blocker of Vivaldi.
Settings>Privacy>Botton "Manage Sources in the Blocker settings. -
