Downloads not working from second time in web outlook (OWA)
-
Hi - strange bug here.
This only seems to occur when for the outlook web-app (OWA) so far. The first time I download an email attachment it's fine, but from the second time onwards, the download doesn't work. I get the prompt asking me where to save the file but then nothing.
Doesn't appear to affect other websites.
This bug doesn't happen using Chrome.
Closing and reopening Vivaldi resets the problem and so the 1st attachment downloads again but not the 2nd.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I am experiencing the same issue - also at OWA, but even on every site. (I am using Vivaldi Windows)
The first time I download a file from a site it works, the download dialogue opens and the download panel is shown. So far, so good. But if I try downloading another file in the same tab, it does not work. The download panel opens, but that's it. The download dialogue doesn't pop up and no download starts. I can't download any more file in that tab. To re-enable downloading files after the first download, I need to open another tab and download the file there, at the best by duplicating the original tab.
I don't see any indication that a pop-up is being blocked. I double checked all Vivaldi settings but I can't seem to find anything that prevents anything above one file download per site.
How can we fix this? -
By now I am at Vivaldi 4.2.2406.44 and the bug (?) still exists. Any news on this?

I'm still having this issue.
I'd switched to Firefox to let me have functional webmail but tried Vivaldi again today (current linux version 4.0.2312.33) with no joy.

Yea, I am having problems with downloads for a while now. Sometime it helps to save link as from the context menu; also I don't see a notifications, so I open the Downloads sidebar now to check my downloads.
In some cases it easier to download file from the Firefox... -
@woook You're using an outdated version of Vivaldi. The current version for Linux is 4.3.2439.44. I tried the Outlook webmail (outlook.live.com) and downloading attachments seems to work fine - at least on Windows.

Today, using a newly installed Vivaldi 5.6.2867.58 on Windows, this issue is no longer reproducible. I'm not sure tho, if this was a problem being induced by some hidden setting I never fixed.
