i run vivaldi on win and on mx-linux.
on mx linux i got the following complaint -

well it seems that this has to do with the (quick-) - bookmark menu that shows in linux not the full images of the bookmarked pages - but does so on windows!?!
any idea to fix this - and to get rid of the HTML5 “proprietary” issue !?

well my quickstart-bookmark-page looks awesome on windows
and on all linux machines look awfullike so
probably this is a issue of the above thread -.....?

It is a selection of bookmarks, and the images are just thumbnails(pictrures) - they are nothing to do with HTML5 media(videos).The thumbnails are updated when you visit the bookmarked page, or if you hover over the image on the Speedial page and click the reload icon (in the bottom right of the thumbnail).
