Chrome store extensions not compatible with current version of Vivaldi
Well this is awkward. the add on's and extensions in the Chrome store are being hidden from Vivaldi users.
Not surprised at all since Microsoft and Google have started doing things to give their browser the edge.
I dumped Chrome and Google Search for Vivaldi and DuckDuckGo quite a while ago, but this was surprising.Instead of seeing the install button, they just show the page with no ADD EXTENSION button.
I've not been in Google's Chrome Extension Store for a while, so I do not know which version they became an issue first. This is on version:
Vivaldi 3.7.2218.49 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
Revision cc16427acdfafc7bbb5191e17b1f3770331e4c8a
OS Windows 10 OS Version 2009 (Build 19042.928)
JavaScript V8 8.9.255.20
User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/89.0.4389.91 Safari/537.36
Command Line "C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe" --flag-switches-begin --enable-features=PasswordImport --flag-switches-end --origin-trial-disabled-features=SecurePaymentConfirmation --disable-smooth-scrolling --save-page-as-mhtml
Executable Path C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe
Profile Path C:\Users\dgrandy\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\DefaultI checked and an new Vivaldi Update was available. Issue also exists in new update:

@rdreammaker It looks like your "Google Extensions" under "Settings/Privacy" have been disabled.
You need to enable "Web Store" and (possibly also) "Crypto Token".

OK I feel Silly, don't be me
So as @Gwen-Dragon and @TbGbe pointed out, this is actually a setting in the Privacy Section.
I'd seen it before, but hadn't given any thought to what it did, since I am super Privacy Anal, I generally just turn everything in the Privacy Section that connects to Google off.
I was reading through the notes of the newest Vivaldi Update which appears after installing it, and saw a statement about extensions, then went and checked the settings and yep, I had it turned off. Came back here to update my post and Gwen-Drago and TbGbe had already commented about it.
Well, at least anyone who turns everything off, and then comes to the forums wondering why its not allowing extensions to be added will have something to refer to.
It's actually quite genius of a feature, now that I think about.
For the record, turning it off, does not impact any of the extensions you have already activated, it just turns off the Add Buttons in the store. Thanks Gwen and TbGbe.
