Is there a browser extension for voice2text?
-
I would like to know if it is possible to convert a voice video / potcast directly to text.
So either with the help of a Chrome extension or as a program (for Linux, or Windows if necessary).
So it's not about speech recognition of my voice via microphone, but about sound recognition and conversion of the built-in sound. -

@Catweazle Oh, damn. You are right. No idea then, could only do fresh research.

@luetage , works well, it can convert voice to text and can be used for commands. Need a calibration of your voice (~20min) before first use.
There are different apps on the network for this, but they don't work better either. -
@Dancer18, you can use Audext
https://audext.com/
It works online, so you don't need to install ut and has many cool features, such as voice recognition in noise, text timings tracking, autosaving of all changes, an in-built editor, etc. And there are 30 minutes for free//MODEDIT: changed URL to text

@Martha5 Thank you very much, I'll give it a try.

@Dancer18 Careful.
That was posted by a brand new profile that only made that one reply. Extreme likelihood of spam.
And there are 30 minutes for free
Also sounds like you would hit a pay wall quickly.

@nomadic lol
Well, you gotta give them bonus points for finding the fitting post to reply to. -
