I see that open tabs became taller
Still waiting for the List view setting for tabs like Firefox has.

To the Vivaldi Team.
Could you please make it possible to pin Android tabs in Vivaldi, because especially with small screens this would be very helpful:

@juanvase Yes, I definitely need that.
-
I really miss the function to restore deleted tabs.

You can find and restore deleted tabs in the trash can:

@myronandez Well, I am not sure how I feel about this change yet. Maybe it makes sense because phones become taller
But when the list view option will be available I'll immediately switch to it -
@stardepp: Thank you, yes, I know. But it works here different as in the desktop version. In the mobile version, the tab will be restored in the current tab and not in the original one and position as in the desktop version.

[WISH] focus should be set to the address bar, when opening a new tab
try this:
- open a new private TAB
- start Vivaldi in private mode
you'll see that the focus is not on the address bar and you need to tap it, to enter a url
That's a tap more than needed: focus should automatically be set to the address bar. Of course, as speed dials are not available in private tabs, there no need to keep the focus on the empty private page: typing an address bar is definitely needed in private mode.

[Question] is it possible to start Vivaldi mobile in private mode?
-
[Wish] "Always hide controls" setting
I think that the "controls" bar is pretty much useless and just a waste of pixels: all the buttons could be put into the Vivaldi mobile menu (three of them are already there, actually - panels button and tabs button could just be added in vivaldi menu, as well).
As soon as these last two buttons (panels and TABs) are placed into Vivaldi menu, then the controls bar can be removed (finally).
-
[wish] I wish that the panels button and tabs button of the controls bar were moved into Vivaldi menu
Panels button should be put in the top left corner of the menu (on the left of the "<" button)
TABS button should be put in the top right corner of the menu (on the right of the "reload" button)This would not force us to move the thumb up and down to use them.
-
@myronandez: thanks (I should have known it...)
-
@myronandez: not in private mode, as speed dials are not available in private mode.
Duckduckgo browser works this way and it is frankly quite faster.
-
I'm still hoping for Vivaldi to support the Android Autofill API.

Here's a problem: tab groups are enabled by default and cannot be shut off, even when disabled in the flag/experiments settings. I know that has cropped up on previous snapshots. Looks like it's back.
I noticed the appearance of groups as well - assumed it was a new feature.
I find a tab bar at the top of a narrow phone screen a waste of space so I turn that off - but now with the automatic grouping, using the tab button is confusing and more work than before...

Capture Full Page creates very low quality screenshot files.
Try this:
- open a long facebook thread of comments (three screens long, for instance) of any post
- save a screenshot of the full page (that is, of the three screens)
You'll see that the saved file will be at such a low resolution that the contents will be unreadable.
Screenshots saved should create files as big as needed to guarantee a crisp view of the page contents, instead.
Is it something that will be addressed and changed?
Thank you,
