Right-click contextual menu Copy link URL shortcut key has changed
-
I often use right-click key press to Copy link URL.
In Firefox it's quite logically right-click, C key, like Copy.
In Chromium based like Vivaldi it's right-click, E.
I don't know why E but I got used to it.Now suddenly it's right-click, I (2021-03-25 latest version on Windows, French language, I guess).
It should not change with versions.
It would better be C, like Copy. -
@jesus2099 Hello jesus2099,
I just tried the right-click, C in Stable English version (3.7.2218.49) and it works fine and I tried with the French version I have (Snapshot 3.8.2238.3) and can confirm what you report here.
Quite an odd behavior, I agree.
Maybe a bug to report? -
@jesus2099 You can change which letter is used. I just helped someone else with a different command.
@nomadic said in Save image short key changed in v3.7:
@kalaiden You can change which key activates a command by editing the name with the new context menu editing feature for web pages.
-
Go to:
Settings
→Appearance
→Menu
→Menu Customization
-
Then from the dropdown selection, choose
Web Page
→Image
-
In the left pane below the dropdown labeled
Content
, search for the item calledSave Image as...
-
Right-click on it and choose
Rename
-
Place an "
&
" before the letter you want to use to select the command
Like this "Sa&ve Image As...
"
That should then let "
v
" work to select the command. -

@jesus2099 The context menus are now customisable. There are now some new submenus for:
- [Image menu](as Subfolder)
- [Selection menu](as Subfolder)
Go to Settings, Appearance, Menu Customization, Web Page, Link menu, and right-click on the Subfolder menus to uncheck (Show as Subfolder) if you want them to appear on the Context menu.
