Disable sync and stop error message

Hi. I am interested in using this browser but do not have a desire to sync in any way. But I keep getting error message for no sync and I cannot find any setting to opt out of this.
Is syncing required to use Vivaldi? Or rather is receiving an error message each time I open Vivaldi the price I must pay to use it without sync?

@Gwen-Dragon Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, there is no option to log out, only log in or cancel. It also offers me option to create an account but I don't want one.
Still every time I open I get an error about sync. -
Hi. Latest for Windows. I'm getting grief creating account for imagur. Never mind. I'll live with the error message. Tnx anyway.

@Gwen-Dragon Thanks Gwen. Unfortunately, I do not have any saved passwords to delete. Good idea, though.
Now that I know there is some sort of glitch, I'll go ahead and uninstall and reinstall Vivaldi when I have time to set up the extensions etc. again. Ironically, having sync would probably help speed that process, I suspect!

Hi, you can move or rename the profile folder and copy most of the data back to the new profile.
It is automatically created if you remove the old one.

Though this is the most minor of tech issues I've had in a long time, I appreciate the fine and helpful folks here! Go Vivaldi!
Now if you folks could just help me fix my Thinkpad's lingering BIOS issues, constant mouse freezes and ... what else? Ha ha.
