Hulu unable to determine location

Hulu wants access to location, I grant it, confirmed on the site settings under the lock icon it is set to allow, and the site says unable to determine location. Works fine on Brave and Firefox.
Kubuntu 20.04.2 LTS

Found the answer on the Mac forum at https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/55132/hulu-and-location, it is currently not working but you can set it manually in the developer tools as described here:

Going to add a weird quirk to this..
Although I set my location in the developer tools, and that does fix the problem of Hulu not loading because it wants access to my location, when it does load it gives me the wrong local channels - only on Vivaldi!
With the same computer but a different browser (Falkon), where I have to do the same trick with sensors in the developer tools, it lists the right local channels. (However Falkon fails to play video, but I'm not bothering to troubleshoot that since I only installed it to compare this against Vivaldi). Also all other devices in the same house (smart TVs, etc.) show the correct local channels, so it isn't an ISP or modem issue.
I've tried clearing cookies, logging out/in, etc., and re-entering the location information in the sensors tab, but Hulu on Vivaldi insists I'm in California instead of Ohio. Really odd.

Opera uses Google to determine your location, presumably Vivaldi didn't want to do that ... your IP address should still put you in the right state (when sites do that they list me about a mile east of town instead of my actual location).

Yeah, most sites have me in a suburb near the town I'm in, but Hulu for some reason thinks I'm in San Francisco, on the other side of the country. Hulu also frequently loses any sense of my location altogether and complains that I need to share my location, and after a sequence of clearing cookies, changing the site setting from "allow" to "ask", reloading, switching what the sensors override is set to, eventually it works again.

On Linux the location service was removed for many browsers as Mozilla stopped free and open access.
Only Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have a working location service. As i know both browser producers give free access only to non-commercial browsers.
Currently Vivaldi can not afford payment to a third party location service. That may change in the future. -
