Shortcut/setting for tiling selected tabs?
-
Hi!
Going by the below topic, it doesn't seem like the situation has changed - I don't recognise a way to tile only the tabs that I have selected (by clicking on them in the tab bar while holding ⌘).

If there is already a behaviour or setting responsible for deciding which tabs get selected for the tiles, I'd really appreciate getting to know how to find it.
Otherwise, I couldn't find anything, but the existing four keyboard shortcuts, in the Settings panel by searching for "til"[e]. -
@anijatsu I don't understand what you want. Ctrl+Click selects the tabs, then the shortcuts or button tile the selected tabs.

@Gwen-Dragon said in Shortcut/setting for tiling selected tabs?:
Ctrl+F6 toggles toling of selected tabs in a window.
Here not. It only dissolves the tiling. Have you modified it? Here Ctrl+F7,F8,F9 is tiling the selected tabs in grid, horizontal and vertical.

@Dancer18 Correct. There is no shortcut to toggle tab tiling. What you can do is retile tabs that have just been untiled by using the tile tabs shortcuts without selecting the tabs first.
I recommend assigning shortcuts that are easy to remember.

@Gwen-Dragon Correct, but Ctrl+F6 does not toggle tab tiling; it only untiles tabs (I use Ctrl+T for the same command).
