Right click -> Save image as... doesn't work

Right click -> Save image as...
Selected destination and click Save
Image is not saved to the destination

Saving the same image using the same method in Chrome works without issues.

Latest version of Vivaldi as of writing this:

@GTCrais Hello, saving images works fine here, always has. I suspect you might have an extensions or something else interfering.

What site is this on, give an example URL.

@Pathduck Hi. Saving images worked fine for me as well until recently. I haven't installed any additional extensions since this bug has appeared for me. I only have 3 extensions installed: Blue Jeans Meeting, Honey, and uBlock Origin.

Regarding example URL, saving any image from any URL doesn't work. A specific example would be this: https://i.imgur.com/07fdQey.jpeg

Edit: I've just disabled all 3 extensions, restarted the browser, and the issue is still there.

@GTCrais The example image saved fine here, Windows 10 x64 version 20H2.

Please go through the troubleshooting steps, even if it worked before and you think nothing has changed on your system.

9) Check your security software - apparently for some reason Avast started blocking file download for Vivaldi, I had to explicitly allow it. It didn't do that for any other browser.

Anyway, issue solved, thanks!

@GTCrais If you have the time, please let us know exactly how you set Avast to allow downloads from Vivaldi. It could help other users with the same problem - apparently something has changed and many users are having download problems with Avast.

Did you contact Avast support about it?

Avast 20.9.2437 (build 20.9.5758.615) here, right clicked and saved the jpg without any problem, cannot reproduce.
