import Feedly to Vivaldi
-
Hi Guys, any idea how to switch from Feedly to Vivaldi effortlessly?
-
Great! Thanks, looking forward!

@olek83 The OPML import is already functional as described in https://help.vivaldi.com/article/import-feeds-from-other-feed-readers/
So you could go ahead with moving from Feedlyto Vivaldi. -
The main issue I had when I first imported from Feedly to Vivaldi a couple of weeks ago, was that in Feedly I had some feeds in more than one folder.
When importing to Vivaldi it created duplicates of the same feed (even though Vivaldi doesn't organize them in folders) and replicated the articles, one copy per each duplicated feed. In an extreme case I had a feed where I would be going through the same article 4 times...You can easily solve this by removing the duplicate feeds in Vivaldi when importing (or even after importing).

Some bugs in the importing of OPML files. For example, files from RSSOwl (now RSSOwlnix) is not recognized even after renaming to feeds.xml :
The above image is empty below, I suppose that there should be the feeds but it is empty.
This should be a minor bug, just a parsing problem from Vivaldi,
Second thing, importing RSS seems to complicated so not adequate for newbies in consequence to seduce users, maybe add a menu in File ? (import OMPL file).
RSS and email handling with tags, etc is one of the big steps that will make me forget/stop using Opera 12 (there are other things but not as important as this). -
I'm having the same problem, but to import feeds from Inoreader
-
I cannot import from Feedly in Vivaldi 4, either.
-
any plan to fix it?
