Markdown Editor for Composing HTML Messages

When composing an HTML message, it'd be cool to be able to switch to markdown mode to compose in markdown. The markdown would then be converted to HTML and CSS for the text/html part in the source of the outgoing message.
For me personally, switching to and from markdown editing mode wouldn't have to retain content from other modes with conversion, but I can see how many would like that.
Replying in markdown compose mode to an HTML message would require some conversion though, which could make supporting replying in markdown more complex. But, it'd be nice.

@burnout426 You mean, like, the editor in Vivaldi:notes? I would like it to be in the mail client, the editor now is not so good.
