How to customize menus in Vivaldi browser
-
move the Tabs toolbar BELOW the Main toolbar?
Not too soon, not too late (I hope).
move the toolbar buttons FROM the sidebar to the Main toolbar?
Wouldn't be awkard? I mean, you press a button on the main bar but is opened on the sidebar.
Or you just mean to have these buttons on the bar to be opened in a new tab? -
I am looking forward to being able to customize my context menu on a web page. It would be great to handle tab mute while right-clicking on the page in tab tilings.

A bug since last version: add a new folder in the menu, then add one “openlink” into the new folder, one "openlink" will becomes two.

@18green Unable to reproduce here. Neither in Snapshot nor in the latest Stable version.

@pesala: Hi,Pesala, the version is Vivaldi 3.4.2066.90 (Stable channel), when I add a new folder such as "Go to page" in the tab bar context menu, then add a "openlink" such as "www.youtube.com" in the folder, then there will be two links of "www.youtube.com". Unable to reproduce? https://fj.kafan.cn/attachment/forum/202010/31/095532ydhxztjgbhdh5h4x.png.thumb.jpg

@18green Right. Unable to reproduce.
- Right-click New Folder and Rename it
- Right-click on the new folder, New Link
- Paste URL, Enter
- Rename menu

til now meant i never bothered to try
Same here, there are definitely some items I never use...

the page context menu thinks/implies they're horizontal?
Well, technically all tabs are horizontal :face_savouring_delicious_food:

@guigirl Is it the case that "Close the Tabs Above/Below" were manually renamed by you? As far as I know, once a context command text is renamed, it loses the ability to be context dependent (I reported this as VB-74561 but it still has yet to be confirmed until now...), so I doubt it would show "Close the Tabs Below" if you added an emoji in front.
You're probably correct that the default command is not context (tab bar position) dependent, but even if it were, the problem I mentioned above regarding renaming menu items making context command text no longer context dependent would still cause a similar issue if the user puts an emoji in front and frequently changes the position of their tab bar.

Is it not there, or am i overlooking it?
Afaik it is not there (yet). Maybe you should submit a FR if it really matters to you.
