Shortcut for muting tab doesn’t work
-
Muting a tab with shortcut doesn’t work on latest snapshot Vivaldi 3.4.2049.2. Tested it on a test profile, which is pristine. Is this already reported or should I go ahead and issue one?
-
@luetage It seems to be working OK here. I use:
- M = Mute tab
- M+Shift = Mute other tabs (does not mute tabs in other windows)
-
@luetage: Confirmed not working, I can only mute all tabs (Alt-M) and unmute all tabs (Alt-U), the toggle Mute/Unmute tab hotkey doesn't work. Only via tab context menu I can mute toggle current tab only.
@pesala: Where are you testing it? Sites like Youtube and Twitch already sense M as mute toggle, try this webm and maybe try to remap your shortcut to some letter other than M.

@iAN-CooG Confirmed. If I set another shortcut key it does not work for YouTube or your linked video, and M does not work for that either.

That confirms it's a bug to report.

Ok, issued as
VB-72368
. Would be strange, if this hadn’t been caught by testers already though. -
