Trigger a click by hovering mouse pointer over a tab [solved]
-
This feature I really miss.
Instead of clicking on an existing tab in the Tab Bar to view it, just move the mouse pointer to the tab for some milliseconds which would trigger a click.
I hope I made myself understandable: Activate a tab by pointing on the tab with the mouse. This would spare a lot of energy.

I believe a mod for this already exists. Do the work and search the modifications forum board, or if you can’t find one maybe write a feature request.

The mod I'm looking for was an option of the addon "Tab Mix Plus" for the legendary old Firefox which has been orphaned.
I'll start a deeper search though I've rummaged quite a bit already. You've created a lot of mods in Github.
The request section seems to be not very busy at the moment. -

Thank you, Pesala. I did not find that precious gem.
As maxtao posted this in 2018 already the old Tab Mix Plus was the best addon ever in my view.
I pray that this will come in to being one day...Have you ever tried that addon? You get used to it so quickly you will keep it forever (my favorite choice).

@maximwaldow I would hate tabs to flicker on hover. Typically, I have two windows open with one tab in each:–
- This tab on my 1200x1600 portrait monitor where I do most of my work.
- A tab for watching videos fullscreen on my 1920x1080 landscape monitor.
- If I sometimes open several tabs for some project, they are usually tiled.

Besides: The Cent Browser has this feature. Everybody who likes can download the portable version and check it in the settings tab option. Just takes a minute. -
