We have added this feature to our pipeline. It means that it's on our "To Do" list now. We will keep you updated when the work on this feature starts.

@pafflick finally some good news regarding this topic. Thanks for keeping us updated!
-
How far along is this? I mean toggling this with system setting isn't so hard to do I'd guess.
-
would love to see this live soon!
-
Looks like it's an extremely long pipeline...
-
How's that pipeline looking @pafflick?

+1 from me on this feature

I have to lift this. a schedule is a way to become an easier life.. make everything easy and easier.. quite surprised. many amazing features in vivaldi. but simple features like that are actually missed. I just realized because I just tried it. I do not like that feature. because in my opinion it is coercion. or not natural. haha

+1 for this. There's no point of making Vivaldi UI to follow system theme, if the web page don't turn dark/white as per system theme.
-
+1 I will cut some slack because other apps don't worry about webpages. Being a browser, it's definitely more work just for dark mode. Thanks for adding it to the pipeline.

We just got dark mode for websites in iOS a short while ago and I was initially baffled why it didn't toggle itself on and off with the system theme. So now I'm here and I'm very confused; why would you NOT want the website dark mode switched on & off with the rest of the phones UI dark theme?
Asking for this in iOS too!

This is what keeps me using MS Edge on my phone (and therefore on all my devices due to synchronising data/browsing across my devices).
Over the past year or so, I've been checking back occasionally to see whether this feature has been implemented and I can switch to Vivaldi, but still no luck so far.
