Keep tab focus on page, not switch focus to new tab

Hey, hello V-folk!

I looked for and couldn't find a way to (with a right-click) open a new page in a new tab without switching focus away from the tab I'm already on.
Is this a feature I can't find or is it a feature request?!?

Speaking of new tabs (maybe should this be a different post?), if I enter a URL into the address bar it replaces the currently focused-on tab rather than opening in a brand new tab, as is my wont.

• Right-click, Open in New Background Tab
• Ctrl+click
• Middle-click
• Mouse Gesture, Open Link in Background Tab (Over a Link)
• Vote for Option to Open New Tabs in Background as Default
• Settings, Address Bar, Open Address in New Tab. Choose from Alt+Enter or Shift+Enter.

Thanks. I found the open a background tab in the right click menu. I was looking for it in the settings>tabs section.
