Double Chromium bump – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1916.3

[Settings] Move Updates into General settings category (VB-67185)
Nice. I'd move network too
-
@hadden89: How did I not think of this before. A bit of a shame that the category glyphs would go unused though (including the updates one). After all, time was spent in making them.
-
@Ruarí Maybe include a link to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions (Note: Windows 7 N not mentioned there).

First!

@altcode: Yes?
-
@AltCode he's right, it's his first comment in here.

With 83 going stable in 4 days, this is going to be a tough one to turn around without skipping a cycle (84 is due in two months). No time for any new features, just fixes.

I'm all about it, I'd rather see more fixes than new features anyday.
-
Ugh, on Linux the entire app seems to have been zoomed by a few percent.
Going back to 1906 restores to how it was.
-
@Hadden89 I submitted a Bug Report for this Feature Request.
(VB-67565) Move The Network Proxy Settings to the General Tab in Settings
-
@bib_vivaldi What is your UI Zoom in Settings, Appearance? Just adjust it to your liking.
-
@bib_vivaldi Be careful of going back to an older build. This snap has an engine bump which could change the underlying profile structure, and reverting to an older build could break things.
-
It's got nothing to do with that.
Run 1916 and the entire app, everything, is around 10 to 20% bigger.
Revert to 1906 and it goes back to what it was. The way it has always been.
Reinstall 1916 and it all gets bigger.
Revert to 1906 and back to normal.
Nothing at all to do with the UI Zoom settings.
-
@bib_vivaldi Linux is very diverse - could you let us know
- Your DE
- Your Distro
- Graphics card / drivers
-
Ta, but I've so far found no problems reverting.
-
@bib_vivaldi Could you answer the question @LonM made or don't you want to be helped? He asked some questions to try help you find the culprit on YOUR system, because unless other people report the same issue, it's clearly a malfuncion on your particular setup, so the more info you give, the better.

opensuse 15/1/kde/Intel i965. I have logged a bug report. Interested if other Linux users have found this.
-
@ian-coog: Give me a break. I replied to one post, which then stalls before I can post again, and I am not going to continually hit the post button.

Native notifications for Windows 10 are still broken, tested in a VM. 3.0.1874.27 works properly so I'll stick to that.
