Motion sensors allowed by default?

Why is the use of motion sensors allowed by default? What does Vivaldi need the motion sensors for?

@Toontje On portable devices has more sense. Probably less for desktop pc.
By the way you can deny sensors here: chrome://settings/content/sensors

@Pesala Actually I see them as "allow(default)" on desktop too
