Access the Clock features even when Vivaldi is minimized
-
Now that I'm addicted to the clock features of the last Snapshot (), I would propose the following feature request :
Having the possibility to access the Countdown/Alarm even when Vivaldi is minimized. This could be done directly from the context menu of Vivaldi's icon on the Windows taskbar (as shown on the picture below - New Countdow/New Alarm).
This in order to avoid being obliged to maximise Vivaldi's window when you want to stay focused on what you're working on.Another option could be to add those to the pop-up that shows-up at the end of a countdown or when an alarm appears :
It would or give access to the different Countdowns/Alarms that exist in the Clock or (easier?) just relaunch the last Countdown/Alarm that was set-up.

@Ornorm Just set up a shortcut to show the Address Bar and put the clock there. The alarm does not seem trigger the notification if the clock is hidden.
It would be better to use an OS alarm if you want to work in other software.

What do you mean? (maybe a workaround that could be interesting for me)

Of course. And I know there are plenty of widgets/extensions that could do the trick but I'd prefer not to install any of those. I prefer to use Vivaldi. What I'm asking is a nice-to-have feature. I can use it the way it is implemented for the moment (which I now regularly do) but it would be fantastic (for me) if such a feature was taken into account.

@Ornorm Go to Settings, Keyboard, View, and set a shortcut to show/hide the Address Bar. There is no default shortcut; I use Ctrl+F8 since F8 if Focus Address Bar.

@Pesala Ok. Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, that isn't a workaround I could use to do what I expected. Thanks anyway.
