CLEAR HISTORY in window panel "Closed Tabs"
-
Despite Clearing everything for All Time.. Closed Tabs in Window Panel remain (just open the list)! These can all be Cleared only if we Close the List view and Right-Click the Trash Can. (Sel-Clear) - Note: On MacBooks with a TouchPad it is only possible to achieve Right-Click action by configuring "two-finger" Tap in Control settings.

@tedsmostexcellentadventure It is working as expected on Windows. I used Delete Browsing Data, All Time, and included Browsing History.
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb (WinSPRLevel = 5.9) on Win 10 64-bit 1909 build 18363.657 • Snapshot 2.12.1838.3 (64-bit)

@Pesala I think it really should be possible by now to have the list of "closed tabs" erased on closure of the browser. This is not happening even if the setting "Save Browsing History" is set to "Session Only".

@seasonsoflove I am still waiting for a Setting for Number of Closed Tabs to Store, so that this list becomes useful again. It quickly fills up and runs off the screen.
One can set a shortcut for Show Closed Tabs, then one does not have to use the mouse. In the English UI, Access Key C will clear the list.

This would be useful indeed! It would at least allow the user to effectively turn the list off.
