You mean, one by one?
-
@kallon No. I mean that the shortcut will close all selected tabs.

If you
clickhighlight the tab stack in the Window Panel, the delete key will close all tabs in the stack and remove the stack. This doesn't involve selecting all the tabs, just the folder representation of the stack.

You don't use any panels? I find the panel to be one of the most useful innovations in Vivaldi. I've got a couple dozen web panels I've created, at least. When using other browsers these days I find myself frustrated not having access to my panels; switching back to Vivaldi I immediately notice a productivity boost. It might be a little awkward at first, but I highly recommend exploring the panels, creating a few of your own (nothing too complicated at first) and discovering how they can streamline your workflows.
Bookmark management wouldn't be the same without the bookmark panel, and that is certainly my most used panel. The loggers for uBlock Origin & uMatrix get a lot of use, having those in a panel instead of a tab improves their usability dramatically. I've got a bunch of smart home panels too -- quick access to security cameras, thermostat control, etc. Having a sessions panel made that feature something that I could actually utilize, before creating it my use of sessions was extremely limited. Emails, syncronized notebooks, and other online productivity tools work well in the panel, as do streaming audio services.
The window panel itself is probably my second most frequently used panel. Closing a tab stack, even multiple tab stacks with a single action, is something I do frequently in the panel, often without using the mouse (hence "click" being strucktrhough in my previous post). Just before loading the forum right now, I closed down 5 tab stacks containing a couple hundred tabs with one keystroke after highlighting the tab stacks the usual way you would highlight any listview with the keyboard (shift or ctrl-space) followed by a single keystroke.

@kallon I came here searching for a sortcut to Close Tab Stack (like in the right click context menu option). I use one easy workaround: Select all tabs with 'Ctrl'+'Double click' on the tab stack favicon, then Ctrl+W (or your shortcut) to close.

Team Vivaldi has maintained (and improved, for the most part) the best features of the Presto Opera browsers!
My thanks to them all, for their work and their vision! -
