Enhance reader for PDF, epub, and other book formats

Vivaldi could possible be the best comic reader of all time with one simple modification on the pdf reader
its been 2 years that im looking for a epub, cbr, cbz, pdf, comic book reader for local files, but i want something very specific,
THE PROBLEM
it need to be scrolled continuously with the mid mouse button clickable, and hardware accelerated like a browser, but unfortunately all the comic book readers are so old that the code dont allow then to change to vertical view, i made this request on every know software for windows for the past 2 years and all of then say the same thing, that doing so would need to redo everything.
THE SOLUTION
the pdf viewer in all browsers this days can do exactly what i want, the only problem is that when you finish reading something, there is no way to click and automatically open the next pdf on the local folder of the pc, and thats what i want, one simple button that we can click at the end of reading, that will open the next pdf on the local folder based on the name file. if one day the pdf reader could do this, he would by accident became the best comic book viewer for strips animated comic book, manga and others, there several topics on reddit of people like me looking for something like this, and its something that looks so simple that i myself can bring so many users from the community to use Vivaldi just because of this, i also noted that if this was possible the bookmarks function of the browser would work very well as a way to keep track of what you read, so as the history as you can search for .pdf and he says the last one that you open.
I know this is a little weird, a function in a browser so he can do another thing, but you guys are my last hope.
One button, to open the next local pdf file on folder at the end of reading on the pdf reader, thats all i ask.

@skyafs There's no tl;dr and your conclusion missing. One or two sentences perhaps?

@skyafs Opera 12.18 can browse a folder of images with Fast Forward. It used to be possible in Vivaldi too, but it does not seem to work now.
It would be a useful feature to have in Vivaldi.

For photos is one thing though, for PDF which may contain links it is another matter. You'd need a specific "Next file" command - not impossible of course.
