It has been requested many times before, responded with not going to happen many times, but I feel the underlying problem is still worth discussion in pursuit of another solution even if a public bug tracker is for whatever reasons not desirable.
Specific example: I'm getting an error with locating the flash plugin in Vivaldi 2.9.1705.41 on Linux. Searching around this shows maybe one bug related to it (VB-56840) but it's impossible to know details. There is one forum post which seems like it is related, then another that mentions it in 2.8 RC1 testing, but was it actually fixed? Is it not related to my particular issue? Should I add a bug report or would it be duplicate? The end result is I wouldn't bother submitting a bug report.
