QWANT suddenly not working on android
-
Hello, and sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong subforum.
A few minutes ago Qwant suddenly stopped working for me, telling something about "User agent" problem giving details about my device and other stuff and telling me to either install a recommended browser or update my browser to the latest version.
There was a Vivaldi update so I did that and now it's version 2.7.1624.277 but Qwant still doesn't work.
I tried clearing the browser history and rebooting, still the same problem. Is this a problem on my end or someone else has the same problem?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Ornorm, I use a different search engine on desktop so I thought it was a mobile problem.
Time to say goodbye to QWANT I guess. -
try using searx.me and adding Quant as one of the search engines

Does anyone know will this issue be fixed? Qwant seems to be the right choice when it comes to search engine ethics, I've switched to it after reading a Vivaldi blog post on the matter (a post presenting various Google alternatives). Although it may be on the Qwant side to include Vivaldi within their "white list", it could be great to be able to use it today.

@ThomasLeigh if you would like to read the thread linked by @Ornorm you'll see that it's a problem on their side created by themselves, some versions of Vivaldi are still "blacklisted" for no reason and they admitted it's an error on their side. Only them can answer to the "when it will be fixed" question.

@L3F20XX @ThomasLeigh sorry for the trouble and thanks for reaching out. The Qwant issue has been now fixed on their side and everything should work back to normal. Let us know if it's not the case by replying to this thread. Thanks in advance
