Fake app warning (Vivaldo)
-
I just found a spelling mistake squatter in the play store called Vivaldo.
At only 4 MB it has an impressive feature list !
The developers yahoo email address makes me even more convinced it is a bad app.

Nice catch. This violates the Play Store policies against impersonating another app.
I reported it, you may want to as well using the Report Inappropriate Apps form.
-
...and "O" is near the "I" on the keyboard, which make this even more suspicious: in the best scenario is only a fake app that load a bunch of ads. Hope will removed soon.
-
At least it's singular (pun intended)
-
Worried +500 downloads. They can then turn into comments that Vivaldi is malware.
Reported -
I got "item not found" when I clicked your play store link, so apparently Google took care of the problem.
-
I installed it in an android emulator so the libs and plugins could be revealed.
Appbrain now shows the info

No surprise it is just more adwareIt is gone from the playstore quicker than I expected. They often take weeks or longer.

I reported a similar case a few weeks ago. That time it was an app that was called "Vivaldi Browser", and its store page was identical to the real Vivaldi app's page: same text, same screenshots, and the same icon (but slightly more orange, for some reason).
Never tried installing it, but I decompiled it and found a few basic pages and a lot of ad-related code.
Reported it to Vivaldi using the Vivaldi Contact form, and it has since been taken down.
So it's definitely worth keeping an eye out for more of these fakes.

This also rubs the allowed. Not enough to report, but almost.

I don't think that one is trying to reference Vivaldi.
Vivid makes you think bright and cheerful which for a web browser is a very good name. However this is just another piece of adware as you can see from the reviews and the list of libraries used.

It should be reported to google as adware, but I suspect even though this app is no different from the Vivaldo app, it will stay for a while so google can make as much money from it as possible. -

Surely at least he was inspired by the Vivaldi logo and so that the typography seems even more putting this little arrow so strategically. Well, according to the opinions he has received anyway, he will not survive long.
