Use this site all the time for watching the English Premier League. Tells me to use Safari/Firefox/Chrome/Edge.
For a better experience, update your browser.
Vivaldi 2.8.1664.40 detected
It looks like the browser you are using is not supported or is out of date. Update your browser or download a supported one below.Any workaround?
Thanks....NichoUnited.

@NichoUnited User Agent spoofing.
You can fake the user agent by opening developers tools (F12); in the 3 vertical dots menu select Network conditions;
User agent, uncheck Select Automatically, and then select "Chrome - Windows."

Sometimes I want to send this message to certain pages, instead of using a UA Switcher
It seems that you use a discriminatory browser sniffing, this being a disdain to the user indicates the poor reliability of your page.
Please correct this or hire a new webmaster, Vivaldi is everything but outdated

@Catweazle Before doing so, make sure the pages on that site actually work after spoofing the UA. There are sites that uses some tech that are actually not working in Vivaldi or really work only under specific conditions.

So far I have not seen any page that does not work for me with the UA Switcher and Manager that I use, although it did happen with other UA switchers in the store.If a page works in Chrome, surely all of them, it necessarily has to work in Vivaldi as well.
In any case, if there is a page that requires a certain technology to work well, the decent thing is to notify the user that perhaps because of this or this it cannot have full functionality with the browser you use, for example due to the lack of certain plug ins or drivers, but not an unworthy "Use a decent browser and not this crap", what translated is what they say in the browser sniffing discriminatory, which has nothing to do with compatibility. -

You forget about those requiring specific codecs which may not work with the "free" ones.

Hopefully I got the instructions correct but still no luck!

I made the adjustment but still not working after refreshing the website.

@NichoUnited Try a extension which can spoof the user agent. See https://help.vivaldi.com/article/user-agent-spoofing/
Extension did not seem to work either?

Works fine for me.
Have you selected Chrome in the menu, by clicking on the extension icon and Apply?
