Ok, but in Opera Mobile is also fake. It is with 11 trackers the least private browser on Google Play. There is no use of a VPN that logs all the activity on the network and traffics with this data.
On mobile, apart Vivaldi, the best are Brave or Kiwi. For the rest a paid VPN or use ProtonVPN or Windscribe, the only ones whose free versions offers good privacy and security, without logs. -
Just use the Cloudflare DNS app

https://blog.cloudflare.com/announcing-warp-plus/I use Quad9 DNS and others. Blokada has a DNS switcher, where you can select frome a huge list of privacy DNS, also 1.1.1.1 is in the list

@Catweazle doesen't matter what kind of proxies opera has. If the people can open their sites with it. Kiwi does't have desktop version for sync, brave on mobile don't have proxy's or vpn.
-
@Dr-Flay 3th party app - is not built-in, and again it makes vpn for all internet, not just for sites. sometimes need to use true ip for other apps.
-
I'm tired to explain that people need simple access to all sites, without other apps or dog nails. Need just one from two options - in-built vpn\proxy, or extensions for mobile vivaldi with proxy extension.

You cannot access any site with just one proxy server, for example to videos limited to a certain country. In other words, Vivaldi then requires a whole series of servers in the most different countries, which would also be free. If not, the proxie that incorporates for example Startpage is the same.
Besides it is not so easy to really hide the identity of the user, if you visit the Browserleaks page, you will notice There will be pages that are fooled, but also others that with a proxy or an anonymous tab do not even let you in.
A user can always choose from a list the proxie that is most convenient at all times, a browser, to include these lists you will have to pay the corresponding licenses, if the servers are of third party services This may be possible for large companies, but not small ones like Vivaldi, without putting a price or placing ads, which nobody wants. -
@Catweazle Please do not confuse privacy with access. We talking about access. And, Yes, i can open any site with different proxy servers. Sure some sites can detect proxy's, and will not give access, but that sites usualy not for public usage. ofc if vivaldi will offer proxy, it also offer country of it. And no, proxy servers - is not expensive, a lot of small extentions have own free different proxy's, frigate for example. and placing ads is not actually bad, when all have adblockers. Also some company share anonymous usage data, when they using proxy, Opera "VPN" working like that. If the people needs just free access they don't care about full privacy, if they need full privacy, this users actually knows that they need to pay for full privacy and they will buy vpn or vps or they can go in darknet or etc. Is not bad to offer this, bad to hide this info. And if vivaldi will write under the switch button, that they will use anonymous data or will show some ads, for your proxys will be free - it will be not bad offer. And even better than Opera "vpn" from the point of privacy and honor. Give the ability, and let the people desides by self

@res09x , yes, Startpage search in Android is identical as in PC Same also other privacy search engines, DDG, Ecosia, Qwant, etc.

be very careful of your VPN choice. Some VPNs are not what they seem.
See: https://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2020/07/20/7-vpns-that-leaked-their-logs-the-logs-that-didnt-exist/
Of course they'll just wind down then change their names to resuface.
