Hi @j3n5k7. When you have a website open and scroll down on the page, the Address bar and bottom toolbar will hidden automatically. Scrolling up will display them again.
There's no option to disable the bottom toolbar completely.

It should be made as thin as possible. Or, users should be given a possibility to do that in settings. The panel looks bit funny together with the Android panel -- some people still use the old Android panel.

I don't have the Android panel with Pie, so the Vivaldi panel could be tolerated, but if it is much thinner, it'd be nice!

For those of us who still prefer the usual Android nav panel, even with Pie, could there be an option in the preferences for rearranging the contents of Vivaldi's bottom panel somewhere on top, around the address bar? I understand the decision to put it below for easy single-handed operation, but it really takes too much space on the screen, especially in web apps where there's not much vertical scrolling.

I'm not sure this would qualify as feature request, more as a request for more customization options in the interface. (Yeah, what I dream about as UI is something in the lines of Chrome's UI with added Vivaldi's nav options at the top...)

@jane-n Hello. Is there any bug with hiding right now? Because for me, address bar and toolbar are not hiding. S10 with Android 9. Thank you

I've got the latest builds of both the Beta and the Snapshot installed on an S9+ with Android 9 and the Vivaldi toolbars disappear when I scroll a webpage. I've also got the Android Navigation bar which displays on the bottom. Sure, it's a little tight initially, but I also have the Reader View bar show up on every page which also requires scrolling or a click to disappear. I don't find it too much of a hindrance, and really enjoy the functionality it brings compared to other browsers. I think it could maybe be ok with trimming a little of the top & bottom -- I'm not sure as sometimes when I swipe on it to change tabs I don't quite enough of the bar to do it.

I post from my phone frequently, which likes to change "the" to "three". If you see three or similar, I probably meant "the". I use swipe, so typos can be totally unrelated words to what I intended. Knowing this should help you read through my typos.

No, not any we're aware of. Please file a detailed bug report on vivaldi.com/bugreport, so the dev team could investigate,

      Thanks for helping us out.

@jane-n hmmm... On my S9 panels are hiding on the second scroll only. On the first scroll after page load they are not hiding.

I don't know about this option specifically, but we're definitely planning to add more customizability options for the user interface.

I made an account in order to say I second this.

On/off option for the bottom bar would be used by me

      Another request for this here.

On my Samsung Tablet there is no bar at the bottom, I like the layout and I enjoy using Vivaldi on it.

On my phone I find the lower bar irritating, I never use it, so I find myself using Bromite more often.

More customisation would be great - I'd especially like to move "Download Page" much further down the menu listing, it should not be above "New Tab" and "New Private Tab", there is no consistency in the workflow between private tab mode and normal tab mode when opening a new tab from the menu button - in normal tab mode I often download pages by accident.

I am forced to use Firefox because of Vivaldi UI.
